My story!

Hey everyone!
  
      My name is Alycia, pronounced uhh-lee-sha, as it is commonly misspelled or mispronounced. I am 19 years old and was born in Orlando, Florida and am currently living in a city about 2 and a half hours northeast of there. I am 100% Irish by blood, making me first generation American in my family which is pretty uncommon at my age. As a little girl, i was a HUGE tomboy. Hated girly clothes, played every sport in the book, despised shopping, and most of all hated makeup. Shocking! I know. I was the first grandchild, and for about 8 years, was the only granddaughter on both sides of my family. The boys had taken over. So of course, my family wanted me to dress and act like a girl. I hated the thought really, and finally they had accepted me for me. It wasn't until i started high school and was allowed to wear makeup to school that i actually started getting interested in it. I would wear lots of bright colors, and did my makeup, what I thought at the time, was really good! I started watching youtube regularly, and had no idea the amount of beauty "gurus" that were out there! I subscribed to hundreds, and now watching beauty videos is a part of my daily routine. Just by watching those videos, and practicing and recreating looks, I have learned so much. What i thought was just a hobby of mine, turned out to be my passion.

I have friends who have asked me to do their makeup, and I've even had girls ask me to do their makeup for their prom (or as you Europeans would call it, a debs) this year! I am so excited and really hopes this helps get my work known!

I am currently attending college to become a sign language interpreter and am going to try minor in cosmetology and hopefully become a freelance makeup artist as a side job! I am planning on moving into my first apartment with one of my best friends Sarah within the next month or 2! I think that's enough information for now but here are some random fun facts about me!

• I am in love with Dougie Poynter, no mater how far fetched that is.
• I have an incontrollable obsession with red hair <3
• Mcfly have been my favorite band since I was 9. And i am finally seeing them live for the first time THIS YEAR! :D
• I'm 5'3".......shortie.
• I'm extremely crazy, and don't care who
  
• knows.
  
•   I have blue eyes, but i wish they were green.
• I have 3 best friends: Sam, Sarah, and Marybeth. I'm quite lucky. 
• I plan on moving to Ireland for a year when i can afford it, because I have always dreamed of moving there since I was a  little girl.
•  I am currentling taking my second sign language class and loving it.
• I have the best mother in the world. 
• My dad is my inspiration.
• My little cousin Dara, is like a daughter to me. 
• i am constantly cussing. 

• Im understimated way more than i should be, but it helps me prove people wrong. Tell me I can't, and i will.
